We all run out of good movies to watch sometimes. When I can’t find any good new movies I look for an old film that I didn’t happen to catch. By looking back at what movies you favorite actors have starred in you can often find a nice film to watch.
With that in mind I thought I would list a few actors, and list a few of their films. You might find some good movies to watch, and obviously can apply this technique to your favorite performers. I added a separate list of comedians for those of you looking for a good comedy.
Harrison Ford had roles in movies such as: Raiders Of the Lost Ark, Star Wars, and Presumed Innocent. Mel Gibson has starred in many films, including: The Bounty, Brave Heart, and Ransom. Morgan Freeman has starred in many films, including: Outbreak, Million Dollar Baby, and Under Suspicion.
A couple of Marlon Brando films are: The Godfather, The Missouri Breaks, and The Wild One. Robert Duvall has starred in many films, including: The Godfather, THX 1138, and Colors. Robert Redford has starred in: All The President’s Men, Out Of Africa, and The Candidate.
Angela Jolie has starred in: Wanted, Beowulf, and The Good Shepard. Jack Nicholson has starred in: The Shining, The Postman Always Rings Twice, and A Few Good Men. Jon Voight has starred in: The Oddesa File, National Treasure, and Transformers.
Michael Douglas has starred in many films, including: The Sentinel, Wall Street, and Basic Instinct. Al Pacino has starred in: Scent Of A Woman, Carlito’s Way, and Serpico. Kevin Spacey has starred in many films, including: American Beauty, The Negotiator, and A Time To Kill.
Anthony Hopkins has starred in many films, including: The Elephant Man, Legends Of The Fall, and Proof. Clint Eastwood has starred in: The Good The Bad And The Ugly, Dirty Harry, and Escape From Alcatraz. Val Kilmer has starred in many films, including: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Heat, and The Doors.
Paul Newman has starred in many films, including: The Color Of Money, The Hustler, and Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid. Denzel Washington has starred in many films, including: Out Of Time, The Hurricane, and Training Day. Donald Sutherland had roles in movies such as: The Italian Job, The Eagle Has Landed, and Klute.
If you are looking for a comedy, this group of actors should have something you will like. Richard Pryor has starred in many films, including: Stir Crazy, The Toy, and Which Way Is Up. Robin Williams has starred in many films, including: Hook, Good Morning The Fisher King, and Good Will Hunting.
Eddie Murphy has starred in: Beverly Hills Cop, Shrek, Daddy and Bowfinger. A couple of John Candy films are: Uncle Buck, Home Alone, and Delirious. Gene Wilder has starred in many films, including: Young Frankenstein, See No Evil Hear No Evil, and The Producer.
